Mason Schmidt
Mason is a lighting designer based in Atlanta, Georgia with experience in theatrical and architectural design. Mason is a University of Florida alum with a BFA in Theatrical Design and Production with an emphasis in Lighting Design.
He currently works as an Associate for Lux et Veritas Design, an architectural lighting consultant that specializes in hospitality, corporate, and mixed use buildings. As an Associate, he has gained experience in the specification and design for site, facade, and interior lighting. Mason has been heavily involved in numerous projects currently taking shape across Atlanta's skyline.
As a theatrical lighting designer, Mason has lit various productions ranging from musical theatre, to plays and dance works. His recent design credits include Sweeney Todd, Beauty and the Beast, Mean Girls, Carousel, and The Addams Family. His experience in theatre has allowed him to sharpen his skills in communication, collaboration, project management, and time management which are quintessential skills in every industry.
